Based in DC, I lead audience intelligence and data strategy for national and regional clients in various industries including automotive, utilities and real estate. Previously, I worked at Amazon developing and leading programs for Prime Video’s worldwide content operations and as a data scientist for the federal government – putting my skills in building transnational media models to public use.

I am an Aspen fellow. As part of Aspen Tech Policy Hub’s first cohort in Silicon Valley, I created and presented policy outputs on real world tech related issues such as data privacy, deepfakes, foreign country cyberattacks on US-based companies and ad fraud in the multi-billion dollar ad-tech industry.

I have several years of PhD research and teaching experience at Northwestern University. My expertise includes data strategy, audience intelligence, digital supply chain, media production, tech policy, data science, transnational research, political communication, and converging traditional and digital media. I present my own work and engage in expert analysis regularly at events around the world.

I have copy-edited and professionally proofread numerous published articles and books dealing with visual media, journalism and marketing themes.

I have taught and supervised many-a-young’uns (undergraduates) on how to be effective communicators and occasionally them executives on how to be better leaders.

Fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi, I also know basic Arabic and some scandalous German.
